Bardzo-mi-milo jestem pon-FAMILIE
Bardzo-mi-milo, I am from the PON family
38 years "Bardzo-mi-milo-jestem" (1986)
We grew up with dogs at home. I always wanted a dog of my own, and not a small one like we already had at home. At home, we had Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. No, back then, they weren't yet the "Pim Fortuyn dogs." In 1975, I moved to Venray and got a Newfoundland. After a few months, a Kuvasz joined us. Two fantastic dogs. From that time on, I started showing dogs, which I enjoyed very much. Although the Newfoundland wasn't a show dog due to a congenital shoulder defect, it didn't diminish my joy. I proudly showed him. The Kuvasz performed quite well in shows. Unfortunately, the Kuvasz lived only 5 years. Coincidentally, the breeder had another litter, and that's where we got our second Kuvasz.
I often encountered the Nizinny at shows and wanted to add one to our family. After our second Newfoundland, we brought home a PON: Haracz, a pup from the well-known Bor and an imported Belgian PON female. I hadn't thought much about it and simply introduced the puppy to the Kuvasz and Newfoundland. From the very first moment, they adored the little 3 kg PON girl. Sadly, our second Kuvasz didn't live long either, as he suffered from cancer. The second Newfoundland lived to be 11 years old.
By then, we already had two PONs: Harasz, who was gray, and Heltay, who was cream-white. Harasz had only one litter of two puppies: a male named Antek and a female named Tika. Tika went to live with our mother, who lived five doors down. Neither of the PONs were bred further. The female had a scissor/bite defect, and we believed—and still believe—that dogs with bite defects should not be bred.
From Heltay v Fasia's Hoven and Kaszubi v Ceriale, two beautiful males were born: Jasno and Jerzy. On the Young Dog Day, Jerzy was named Best Young PON, and Jasno stood proudly beside him as the second-best male. Jerzy was a true show star and won many titles, including Best Male in Poznań (Poland), three-time Winner, and Club Winner 1996 under a Polish judge with over 100 PONs present. Jerzy fathered many champion dogs.
From the combination of Lady PON van Isala Situm (owned by Alida Kuiper) and Jerzy, we kept a female named Celine. Unfortunately, despite her beauty, she never had puppies. After a successful mating, she experienced a premature birth (at seven weeks gestation), and the puppies couldn't survive. We decided not to breed her further.
From the pairing of Zagon z Wielgowa and Lady PON van Isala Situm, I wanted a puppy. I am still grateful to Alida for allowing us to have a female from this litter. With her (Ardjoena), we were able to continue our kennel.
From the combination of Ardjoena and Julius, beautiful puppies were born, including Bardzo-mi-milo-jestem Gabor and Lato—two top dogs. Lato stayed with us, but we never bred her despite her beauty. Gabor, however, sired several litters. My wish was to combine Gabor with Anouk v. Isala Situm (a great-grandchild of Jerzy). The owner of Anouk kept a female named Lotte.
To our great sorrow, Ria Wassink, owner of the Isala Situm PONs, passed away, and Lotte came to live with us.
Lotte had three litters, though not without difficulties. Her first litter consisted of five beautiful puppies. From her second pregnancy, she carried six puppies, but only one was born alive, and sadly, it passed away after 36 hours.
Her third litter, sired by Hymne Héros Guilledou z Raju Zimy, produced two females, and Yamka stayed with us. Yamka had three litters. Her first litter produced three puppies, sired by Chlubek v Rivendall (a Polish male).
The second litter had five puppies, sired by Gordon Kaillhanes Pons (a French male), from which Topanga "Tika" was born. Yamka's last litter (seven puppies) was sired by Czabor Futrzak Podlaski (a Polish male), and "Yuri," our male, was born from this litter. Tika and Yuri stayed with us.
In 2021, we imported a beautiful female from Poland with the name Lubawka-Pani Prolog Poland. She had two litters with our own bred males, Wikvaya and Weayaya.
From the penultimate litter, Bardzo-mi-milo-jestem Wiosna z Maju (nickname Lubawka or Luba) was born.
Our Nizinnys fully comply with breeding regulations, but we are consciously not members of either breed club.
We do not sell puppies to people who are away all day or to those who intend to house the dog in a kennel or shed. We also do not sell therapy dogs.
We can proudly look back on our achievements. Over 38 years, we have bred 16 litters, including many champions. As long as I remain healthy, Ponadto Zacny Zanadto and Lubawka Pani Prolog Poland will hopefully produce a healthy and beautiful litter in 2024.
The puppies were born on July 18, 2014. (see above) From this litter, I kept a male. I couldn't bring myself to sell him. He is incredibly sweet and beautiful. His name is Jasno.
I want to thank everyone who trusted us and welcomed a puppy into their homes. Thank you all.
I wish everyone as much success as we have had.
